What we collect, why, and how long we keep it. No tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no data sold to anyone.
What we collect when you buy
- Your name, email address, country, and optionally your phone number and panel URL — you type these at checkout.
- Your IP address, browser user-agent and a timestamp at the moment you accept the terms.
- The same three details each time a download link is used.
- The payment reference returned by MyFatoorah.
Why the IP and browser details
Because of chargebacks. When a bank asks us to prove an order was placed and delivered, that record is the proof. Without it we lose disputes we should win. It is kept for that reason and used for no other.
Card details
We never see them. Payment happens on MyFatoorah's own pages; we receive a reference number and a status. There is no card data on this server to lose.
Who else gets your data
- MyFatoorah — your name, email and the amount, because the payment cannot happen otherwise.
- Our email provider — your address, to deliver your files.
- Your bank, on request — the order record, if you file a chargeback.
That is the complete list. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or send marketing to people who have not asked for it.
Referral links
If you arrive through a partner's link, we store a first-party cookie holding that partner's code so the referral can be credited if you buy. It is read only by this site, expires after the attribution window, and is never sent to the payment gateway or any third party. Partners see that a sale happened and its value; they see your email address only in masked form.
Cookies
Three, all first-party and functional: your session, the referral code if you came through a partner link, and the admin session if you are us. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this site.
How long we keep things
Order records, consent records and download logs are kept for five years — the window in which a payment dispute can still be raised, plus the retention period for commercial records. Contact-form messages are kept while the matter is open and deleted afterwards.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to see what we hold on you, correct it, or ask for deletion. We answer within 30 days. One limit: while a payment dispute is open, or while a legal retention period still applies, we cannot delete the order record — that is the record protecting both of us.
